Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 9-10-19
Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
The slow moving system that brought us cool, drizzly conditions yesterday will stay with us today. We will see scattered rain showers beginning around noon with a possibility of some thunderstorms late afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the mid 60’s and NW breezes will be gentle at 5 -10 mph . Winds will become light and variable tonight. Lows will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s with partial clearing after midnight.
As this system makes its way eastward and out of our area we will see continued clearing and some modest warming. Under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies Wednesday will warm into the low to mid 70’s . Thursday looks to be the fairest day of the week. We will have plenty of sunshine and thermometers will climb into the low to mid 80’s . Mostly sunny skies will stay with us Friday and Saturday. We will see highs in the upper 70’s to low 80’s …pretty average for this time of year. Beginning Sunday we will see a few more clouds push into the region. With them will come a slight chance of some scattered showers. Highs will cool to around 70 Sunday and then drop back into the mid 60’s Monday.
