Local animal shelter in need of donations as more than 100 cats and kittens recovered

UPDATE: KTVZ News spoke with Brightside Animal Center Friday afternoon and learned the cats and kittens are currently being placed in foster homes. REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Brightside Animal Center is asking for the community's support as they are assisting a local resident with recovering more than 100 cats and kittens.

In a Facebook post, Brightside Animal Center says, "To say our hands are full right now is a massive understatement. What we are facing right now is newborns requiring round-the-clock hourly bottle feedings, mothers with litters, underweight and vulnerable kittens, and kittens battling upper respiratory infections (URIs) that require medical treatment."

The shelter is asking for donations to help with their care.
