TERREBONNE, Ore. (KTVZ) — US-97 is closed in both directions about 3 miles north of Terrebonne after a serious two-vehicle crash that prompted an air ambulance response, with Oregon State Police telling KTVZ News there may be a fatality.

The Oregon State Police and Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office are on scene, and drivers are being asked to find alternate routes while investigators work to determine how long the highway will remain closed.

Jole Kelley with OSP told KTVZ News, "This is still an active incident, so I don’t have much information yet. The preliminary information indicates a two-vehicle accident with a possible fatality."
