  1. Imagine a disease so deadly you have to get tested to know if you have it.

Shouldn’t we be basing all of the school closures etc… on hospitalizations and deaths and not positive cases in which the vast majority don’t even know if they have it?

Very few deaths and hospitalizations in Oregon and Deschutes County.

    1. Imagine a country that could prioritize testing and contact tracing and have the leadership to send a consistent message backed by scientists and medical professionals.
      .
When you have COVID-19, you probably know, but you can’t get tested until you have symptoms because our government has failed at the prevention stage. Instead, you have to wait until you’re sick enough to go to the doctor, rack up enormous medical bills and then (if you survive the illness) deal with the long-term effects like chronic fatigue and cognitive impairment.
      .
And there are STILL fact-denying Covidiots that want to see how long we can keep these infection numbers up. New Zealand has eliminated Covid-19 TWICE now with the same resources we have, except their leaders are actually competent.

      1. I’m right there with you that things would absolutely be better if we had anything resembling competent national leadership, but as far as getting tested around here goes, anybody can get a non-rapid COVID test from one of the local drive-though locations at any time. You don’t need to be sick enough to go to the doctor. I’ve done it twice myself, just to rule it out when I was feeling under the weather.

      2. Actually, most positive cases have no clue they are positive. Most positives have no symptoms. 4 patients at st Charles no one in icu tonight. Why are schools closed. Show the positive numbers in Oregon with population along with Deschutes County and repeat your argument.

  2. Its also going into summer down there in new zeland well at least after 3 days of over 400 cases presumptive down to 222 today. Two extra things are certain now riots in portland burning whatever is left and these numbers.

  3. Schools are closed Johnny because it’s last fragment of the way we were before the virus got over here. There’s kids not complaining about school still being closed 🔦🤠
