Redmond intersection closure scheduled from Aug. 27 to Sept. 4

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Drivers in Redmond should expect a full intersection closure starting next week.

The city says NW 19th Street and NW Maple Avenue will be closed from August 27th through September 4th.

Crews will reconstruct the pavement as part of the city's traffic signal project at the intersection.

Signed detours will be in place, while local access will remain open for residents and businesses.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow extra time.

The city says the project is designed to improve safety in the growing area.
