Fire Restrictions begin June 1st on county owned land

BEND, Ore. --(KTVZ)-- With summer almost here and the weather getting warmer the need for caution dealing with fires is growing. As such. fire restrictions are changing June 1st. Starting then, open fires are prohibited, including campfires, except in designated areas. Chainsaw use is also prohibited between the hours of 1 and 8 p.m. Motorized vehicles are prohibited from unimproved roads. That includes all terrain vehicles as well.
