Cool, with showers

Happy Wednesday, Central Oregon!

A low-pressure center off the Washington coast will start to show signs of movement over the next day.

It will be responsible for cool air and rain showers, as well as possible thunderstorms, staying with us.

Rain showers and gusty winds continue Wednesday night, with lows in the 30s.

This slow-moving system will track inland, leaving us with chilly, drizzly conditions through Thursday.

We will get a modest break Friday, with partly cloudy skies and average highs in the mid to upper 60s.

The next system will move in Saturday. Highs will be in the high 60s, but rain showers will develop in the afternoon.

Rain is expected to stay with us into next week.

Daytime highs will cool into the low 60s Sunday.
