Warmer days ahead

Happy Wednesday, Central Oregon!

Skies will remain mostly clear to partly cloudy for the rest of Wednesday.

Lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s with gentle westerly breezes.

The warmup will continue through the end of the work week.

By Friday, we will see highs near the 90s.

Moisture moving in over those hot temperatures will increase the cloud cover Friday afternoon.

The combination of heat and moisture will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms beginning Friday, and that chance will stretch into Saturday.

A chance of showers will carry into Sunday morning.

Sunday will see daytime highs cooling to the mid to upper 60s.

A slight chance of showers Monday morning will dissipate quickly, leaving us with a pretty typical day for this time of year.

Highs next Tuesday should be in the low to mid 70s.
