Wind advisory in place

Happy Tuesday, Central Oregon!

Showers will taper off through the evening and into Tuesday night. We will be left with partly cloudy skies and gusty westerly winds at 10-20 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph. Lows will be in the mid 20s to mid 30s.

We will be a bit cooler Wednesday, with highs in the 50s, but winds will be much gentler, out of the northwest, and we will see mostly sunny skies.

High pressure will begin to build in along the West Coast, and that will spark a clearing and warming trend that will have us in the low to mid 70s by Friday. We will see mostly clear skies through the weekend, with highs in the mid to upper 60s, fairly average for this time of year.

Lows will be in the low to mid 30s, so watch for patchy frost across much of the region every morning into next week.
