Heat Advisory issued July 3 at 9:58AM PDT until July 9 at 10:00PM PDT by NWS Pendleton OR

* WHAT…Hot temperatures with modest relief overnight expected.
Highs in the 90s to low 100s. Morning lows in the upper 50s to mid
60s.

* WHERE…Central Oregon and the John Day Basin.

* WHEN…From noon Friday to 10 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are forecast to
be the hottest days with Moderate to Major HeatRisk (risk of
heat-related impacts).
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and
loose-fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early
morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat
exhaustion and heat stroke.
