Heat Advisory issued July 4 at 10:11AM PDT until July 11 at 10:00PM PDT by NWS Pendleton OR

* WHAT…Hot temperatures with modest overnight relief. Afternoon
temperatures of 95 to 110 degrees. Morning low temperatures in
the mid-50s to upper 60s.

* WHERE…Central Oregon and John Day Basin.

* WHEN…From noon Friday to 10 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Moderate to Major HeatRisk (risk of
heat-related impacts) is anticipated through the duration of the
event.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and
loose-fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early
morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat
exhaustion and heat stroke.
