Cool & rainy again today

-GOOD MONDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

The system that gave us such a chilly, rainy weekend will linger over the region today. Expect to see more rain, with highs only reaching the mid to upper 50's. Only a few spots will break into the 60's. NW winds will be gentle at 5-10 mph.

A chance of rain will stay with us tonight. With lows dropping into the 30's, upper elevations may mix a little snow with the rain showers. NW winds will pick up to 5-15 mph.

The rain will taper off through Tuesday and skies will partially clear beginning Wednesday.

Despite mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies from Wednesday into the weekend, our daytime highs will be staying below average. We get back into the mid 60's Saturday. Highs will reach the low 70's Sunday, when we see the next round of rain showers move in.
