Sunny; warm; smoke

-GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

High pressure will continue to deliver plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures, but we will also see some smoky haze staying with us for the next couple of days. Highs today will be in the low 80's. Light and variable breezes will take on a very gentle northerly and NW flow for some. Skies will stay clear tonight. Look for a frosty morning at the upper elevations, as lows range from the low 30's to low 40's.

Wednesday's highs will be around 80 degrees, but we can expect to see that smoky haze stay with us. This will be especially true to our SW, where folks will be under an air quality alert through Friday.

Central Oregon will see mostly sunny skies Thursday and Friday with highs in the low 70's.

A chance of rain will build in Friday night and rain is likely Saturday, along with some of the coolest daytime highs we have seen in quite a while. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50's and lows will be in the upper 20's to around 40. This means that some of the upper elevations around La Pine, Gilchrist, Chemult and Crescent could see some snow mix in with the rain showers Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

With the snow level dropping to almost 5,000' by the end of the week, the Cascades, including Mt. Bachelor, will likely see their first snowfall of the season. Some of that snow could mix with the rain falling at pass levels during the overnight hours.
