Wind & Rain

GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

Central Oregon will be at the southern edge of a wet and windy system today. We will see a 40-50% chance of rain showers, with SW winds at 10-20 mph gusting to 30 mph. Highs will range from the upper 50's to mid 60's. Showers will taper off through the evening and into tonight. We will be left with partly cloudy skies and gusty westerly winds at 10-20 mph. Lows will be in the mid 20's to mid 30's.

We will be a bit cooler Wednesday, with highs in the 50's, but winds will be much gentler out of the NW, and we will see mostly sunny skies. High pressure will begin to build in along the West Coast, and that will spark a clearing and warming trend that will have us in the low to mid 70's by Friday. We will see mostly clear skies through the weekend, with highs in the mid to upper 60's, fairly average for this time of year. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 30's, so watch for patchy frost across much of the region every morning into next week.
