More warm temperatures today with clear skies

Happy Tuesday Central Oregon.  Today will bring more above average temperatures and little concern for slippery conditions on roadways before temperatures warm as we’ve been dry and mild for the last several days.

A large ridge of high pressure will remain over the region for one more day bringing dry and unseasonably warm high temperatures once again. Monday, we saw two records broken and another tied in Redmond, Sunriver and Sisters, respectively.

Temperatures will be cooling off and returning to close to average by this weekend when there’s a chance we will see some precipitation.  Snow may be possible in the Cascades as early as Wednesday night going into Thursday, but its looking more like a light dusting than significant snowfall.

Winds today will be out of the southwest in the 5-15 mph range.  Highs will be in the 60s and 70s and overnight lows in the 30s and 40s.
