Partly cloudy conditions with mild temperatures today with rainy weather ahead

Happy Thursday Central Oregon! This morning brings a mix of temperatures but little concern for ice with dry conditions over the last several days.  Cloud cover will develop throughout the day and temperatures will be cooler than yesterday but still a bit above average. We will continue cooling off into the weekend when we expect to see some rain in the forecast

Dry conditions and slightly cooler temperatures will result today into Friday morning ahead of an approaching upper level low pressure system that will likely make its way over the southern Oregon coast Saturday afternoon/evening. This system could bring rain to our area as early as Friday morning, with increased chances by Friday evening and lasting through the weekend.

Winds will be out of the Southwest in the range of 5-10 mph and most active again in the late afternoon.  Highs today will be in the 50s and 60s and overnight lows will remain voce the freezing threshold in the 30s and 40s.
