Rain today and over the weekend

Happy Friday everyone!

A low pressure system off the coast of Oregon is bringing in southwest flow. We can expect the warmer temperatures to remain before cooler air from the North arrives late Friday.

Precipitation is expected mainly on Friday and Saturday, primarily in the form of rain in lower elevations and snow in the mountains.  Be careful heading through the passes because they will be icy and snowy.

The majority of the rain is expected between 5pm to 11am Saturday. It shouldn't be a concern as you're heading out the door this morning. Be mindful of wet and slick roads later today.

The Cascades should be seeing more snowfall everyday at least early next week.

Temperatures will range from the 50s to 60s today.

We're starting this week above our normal highs, but we'll eventually cool down into our typically highs for this time of year.
