Mountain snow and a few spotty showers today, still chilly

The region will still be dealing with a much cooler air mass today as the cold pattern remains.  There will be a flow of air from the northwest today and that should continue to usher in the chilly air.  Look for snow to fall along the spine of the Cascades off and on and add up to a few inches.

The high desert will see a mix of clouds and sunshine with more clouds than sun.  There may be a rogue shower in the morning or afternoon, but generally the main weather feature today will be the cooler than normal air.  Winds will be noticeable but not overwhelming, but it will make it feel a bit cooler than it actually is.

Sunday will be slightly milder than today, but still only reaching the low 50s. Normal for this time of year would be the middle 50s, so we are not that far off.

There will be less of a chance for a stray shower Sunday as opposed to today, but the mountains may still get a couple of inches.  Monday will be a bit drier and milder as temps hit the middle 50s.

Expect to see the 60s on Tuesday and the 70s on Wednesday and Thursday.

Stay safe.
