Sunny and warm weekend ahead!

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - A warm and dry pattern will continue through early next week as a ridge of high pressure continues to strengthen across the Pacific Northwest.

Expect mostly sunny skies today with afternoon highs climbing into the low 80s.

Skies will stay clear overnight as temperatures dip into the 40s.

We will continue to warm through the weekend with highs reaching the mid to upper 80s. Breezy north to northeast winds may develop Saturday and Sunday.

We could be seeing temperatures in the low 90s by Monday and Tuesday. If you have outdoor workouts or yard projects planned, the morning hours will likely be the most comfortable time to get them done.

Stronger winds could develop next week which could lead to elevated fire weather conditions.

As of now, Central Oregon is not under any heat or fire alerts. If that changes, we’ll let you know.

Mid 80s will return on Wednesday and Thursday. No precipitation is expected through at least the middle of next week.

Have a great weekend and stay safe!
