KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Expect today to be the warmest day of the week, with afternoon highs reaching the upper 80s and low 90s. We'll also see more sunshine than clouds.

There is a slight chance of afternoon and evening spotty storms. The Storm Prediction Center has placed Central Oregon under a General Thunderstorm Risk for Tuesday.

A Red Flag Warning goes into effect today for areas north of the Tri-Counties, where gusty winds and low humidity will combine to produce critical fire weather conditions.

Overnight lows will dip into the 40s and 50s under mostly clear skies.

Wednesday marks the beginning of a dry period that will last into the weekend. Highs cool slightly into the mid 80s under mostly sunny skies.

We'll warm back into the upper 80s Thursday and Friday, with little change in the overall weather pattern. Expect continued dry conditions and plenty of sunshine through the end of the workweek.

Highs will be in the upper 80s on Saturday and Sunday with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Many beautiful summer days in store for us!
