Bend sets stormwater plan workshops

KTVZ

Your input is needed to help the City of Bend complete its first formal Stormwater Master Plan. The plan seeks to correct stormwater problems with infrastructure improvement projects over the next twenty years.

The 2008 draft Stormwater Master Plan is undergoing significant revision now that additional data has been analyzed and state and federal regulatory requirements have been clearly defined.

The city heard citizen input on the initial draft and now seeks additional comments on alternative proposals. Once completed, the Stormwater Master Plan will outline how to address stormwater quantity and quality issues in Bend.

The City will be hosting two identical workshops to provide more information about Stormwater Master Plan development and to obtain your input on the infrastructure improvement project options:

Wednesday, April 9
5:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Eisenhower Training Room
Bend Utilities Annex
60975 Boyd Acres Road, Bend

Thursday, April 10
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
City Council Chambers
710 NW Wall St., Bend
