Free tax return help still available

Free tax appointments are still available through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program through United Way of Deschutes County.

Appointments are available in Bend at the downtown Library, in Redmond at the Oregon Human Services Building and in Prineville at the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council Building.

VITA volunteers have helped hundreds of mid- to low-income Central Oregon residents to file their federal and state taxes this year for FREE!

They have also helped taxpayers to take advantage of much-needed tax credits that many don’t realize they are entitled to. For more information or to make an appointment:
