The High Desert is holding onto that summer-like feel today with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures across the tri-county area. Whether you are hitting the trails or heading to the river, here is what you need to know for the rest of your Sunday.

Today’s Lifestyle Tracker

  • ☀️ Sun Exposure: HIGH. Highs are reaching the lower 80s for Bend, Redmond, Madras, and Prineville. Don't forget the sunscreen if you're spending the afternoon outdoors.
  • 🏔️ Cascade Rain Chance: While the valleys stay dry, there is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms for the East Slopes of the Cascades, including Sisters and Sunriver, through this evening.
  • 💨 Evening Breezes: Expect north winds between 5 to 15 mph with occasional gusts up to 20 mph as we head into tonight.
  • 🌡️ Overnight Cool Down: Temperatures will drop into the mid-40s to lower 50s tonight, making for a comfortable evening under mostly clear skies.

The Week Ahead

The sunny trend sticks with us through midweek. Highs will hover in the upper 70s to lower 80s through Thursday for the main city centers, while the mountain regions stay slightly cooler in the 60s and 70s.

Expert Tip: Water temperatures in our mountain-fed rivers are still very cold despite the warm air. If you're planning to be on the water this week, remember to "Wear It" and keep those life jackets snug!
