Quiet and mild second half of the week

We are entering a warming pattern today. Temperatures each day, through the end of the week, will continue to rise. We will be in the upper 50s and low 60s by Friday. Today, we are in the upper 40s and low 50s under mostly sunny skies. The normal high temperature for this time of year is the low 50s. Overnight lows will be in the 20s.

Winds are expected to remain calm today, from the southeast.

A ridge of high pressure is building into the region, bringing with it more stable conditions. We will remain dry and the sunshine is expected to return.

Things change pretty quickly, looking ahead into the weekend. Rain is expected to return on Saturday and stick around through the first part of next week. We’ll see some more mountain snow accumulate and possibly a wintry mix in the high desert, once again. Now, temperatures are generally too warm for snow, but we are on our way to winter!

Happy Wednesday! Have a great day.
