Happy Spring, Central Oregon! On the day of the vernal equinox, our temperatures were actually slightly below average and several of our ski resorts welcomed more than four inches of fresh snow. Happy Thursday, Central Oregon! Thursday night will deliver a continued chance of showers and stronger winds. This will extend into mixed showers through Friday night. There will be a chance of snow showers into Saturday morning, the first day of spring. Temperatures will be in the low 50s through the weekend and into next week.

A front moving in will bring gusty winds and some precipitation to the High Desert.

Skies will become partly cloudy Wednesday night.

Skies will stay mostly clear through Tuesday night.

Lows will dip into the teens and northwest winds at 5-15 mph will stay fairly gusty.

Happy Sunday Central Oregon! We had back-to-back days with warm temperatures, plenty of sunshine and calm winds, but things will change here very soon. We’re tracking a new system coming in from the Pacific, expected to make land fall on the coast tomorrow morning. We’ll start to see our clouds build throughout the evening tonight
